ABOUT FEST INFO FESTIVALS

The term ‘folk dance’ is sometimes applied to dances of historical importance in European culture and history; typically originated before 20th century. For other cultures the terms ‘ethnic dance’ or ‘traditional dance’ are sometimes used, although the latter terms may encompass ceremonial dances.

Fest Info gather every year thousands of talented dancers and choreographers from all over the world.Fest info Dance Competitions is held in an attractive cities such as Paris, Lloret de Mar, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Rome, Rimini, Paralia, Corfu… For this reason, our participants, in addition to the competition, have the chance to enjoy the sights and culture of these cities.

Fest info Dance Competitions offers a fantastic experience, great fun and a chance to learn from dancers from all over the world and their culture. Our Dance Competitions provides an opportunity to dance, compete and learn from the best choreographers, to win valuable prizes, and of course to party and have a good time!!!

The terms ‘ethnic’ and ‘traditional’ are used when it is required to emphasize the cultural roots of the dance. In this sense, nearly all folk dances are ethnic ones.
