I International Folklore Festival in Belgrade, May 2017.

We invite you to come on I International Folklore Festival in Belgrade, 12/14th May 2017.

Participants are ensembles from Russia, Indonesia, India, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Georgia, Romania, Slovenia, Montenegro, Italy, Sweden, Moldavia, Armenia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary…

12.05.  – Arival of ensembles at Hotel, room accommodation, and facultative tour of Belgrade, the tour begins with the Vračar Plateau, where you will see one of the most important sights of Belgrade. The square is dominated by the Saint Sava Temple, one of the biggest orthodox temples on the Balkans, besides the temple is also a so-called small Saint Sava Church.  

Back to Hotel. Preparing for Festival Performance.

Sound check. 

Perform of cultural-art societies. Receiving of Certificates and Plaquas.

Diner. Facultative departure to some of the Discotheques for social activities and entertainment. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

13.05.  –  After breakfast facultative half day tour to Oplenac, on this half-day tour you’ll travel with an English-speaking guide into the heart of the Šumadija vineyards area, stopping in the town Topola. The town is known for wine production and was the center of many historical events during the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries or whole day excursion to Novi Sad, Take a day-long trip from Belgrade to Novi Sad, former site of the Austro-Ottoman war, now a cultural, economic, and trade center.

Here you will see the Petrovaradin Fortress, historical and art monuments at Sremski Karlovci, and Fruska Gora mountain. Stop by the Petrovaradin Fortress, located on the Danube, which has been converted into a town museum. Continue on to Sremski Karlovci for historical and artistic sightseeing, which includes many churches and museums, as well as wine cellars. You will also spend some time in nature at Fruska Gora, a mountain lined with wooded hills alongside the Danube River. Famous for its vineyards and 17 monasteries from the 15th and 16th century, Fruska Gora is a representation of the spiritual center of the Serbian nation.  !!! Return to Belgrade. Going back to Hotel.  

Dinner. Overnight stay.

14.05. – Breakfast.  Facultative ship tour on the river Sava or take opportunity and visit Belgrade with our Local guides or facultative magnificent excursion to Novi Sad… Return to hotel. Leaving the hotel and unfortunately moving of all ensembles back to their arrival point of departure with another meeting next year !!!!!!

All ensembles must provide their own music, leading orchestar or music CDs. Each ensemble is obligated to set performance in duration of 10 minutes.
